Eurofins Assurance is pleased to announce the acquisition of EICG ( https://www.certilag.net/certificadora/ ), a trusted auditing and certification company with a strong reputation in the animal food and feed markets.

This acquisition represents a great step for Eurofins Assurance's business in the Spanish market and we believe that the synergies and expanded scope created by this acquisition will generate even greater value for current and potential clients of both companies, allowing Eurofins Assurance be better prepared to respond to the industry landscape and growing customer expectations.

Eurofins Assurance is a rapidly growing and innovative service provider specializing in sustainability, quality and safety solutions for the food and animal feed industries.

EICG, with more than two decades of experience in the sector, enjoys a solid reputation, recognition in the industry and client portfolio in Spain. EICG is ISO 17065 certified and is dedicated to the certification of production processes and agri-food products with a strong portfolio in the field of animal welfare and product certification. GFSI certification standards to support food and feed markets will be the next addition to the EICG growth plan. The EICG offering will merge with the Eurofins Food Assurance portfolio and will bring immediate positive benefits to our business and operations for all our clients in Spain and around the world.

EICG will continue to offer the same high level and quality of its services under the name Eurofins EICG.
